Worship in Holiness – purifies the atmosphere of worship. A heart set apart magnifies God in purity. When your life is consecrated, your worship becomes fragrance. Holiness is not pressure but it is alignment with God’s nature. Be holy, for I am holy. (1 Peter 1:15-16). Strive for holiness without which no one will see the Lord. (Hebrews 12:14). Present your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God. (Romans 12:1).
Worship in Grace – Grace empowers us to worship beyond our strength. Grace carries the worshipper where human effort cannot. Grace makes our worship acceptable. In grace, we stand confidently before God not in perfection, but in His mercy and love. My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness”.(2 Corinthians 12:9)
Worship in Faith – turns worship into spiritual authority. Even when we don’t see it, our worship declares God’s greatness. The inner certainty that what you hope for, even if invisible, is actually going to happen. To worship in faith is to praise God beyond circumstances. It is to say, “God, You are able,” even before the miracle appears. (Hebrews 11:1).
“Worship in Humility – positions your heart for true worship. God lifts the humble because they understand their need for Him. A proud heart cannot worship aright. But a humble heart bows, yields, and receives grace. Humility opens the heavens over your worship.” God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. (1 Peter 5:5).
“Worship in mercy – reflects the heart of God, compassionate, forgiving, and gentle to others. Those who have received mercy must give mercy. Worship without mercy is incomplete, for God delights in hearts that mirror His compassion. Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown or obtain mercy.” (Matthew 5:7).
“Worship in Peace – is coming before God with a calm, trusting, and settled heart. It is worship that flows and rest from confidence in God. True worship flows more easily when the heart is at peace. A heart full of bitterness or conflict cannot worship freely.” (John 14:27)
Worship in Honour – is giving God the highest respect, reverence, and value in everything you do. Honour is not only what you say, it is how you live. It is done with a heart that knows you are standing before the Almighty God. Worship in honour is a lifestyle. Those who honour Me I will honour. (1 Samuel 2:30).
“Worship in Obedience – Obeying God proves that our worship is genuine. Obedience is one of the highest forms of worship to God. Worship is empty without obedience. If you love God, you will keep his commandments.” (John 14:15).
Worship in Truth – Our worship must align with the truth revealed in the Bible. Worship in truth avoids hypocrisy. We cannot pretend before God; He sees the heart. Jesus is the Truth (John 14:6). This means the way we approach God must be through Christ.
